Fish Rub – 1 each -2 oz. spice jar – Broken Shovel Farms

Fish Tacos anyone?  The first time Robin said she was making fish tacos I rolled my eyes.  If you are like me you say what is a fish taco?  Our recipe is simply adding the spicy rub to the fish and bake. Then add the fish, red cabbage slaw with cilantro, and guacamole to the tortilla, and wow, you guessed it I was hooked (sorry) :).

This is the rub she makes for our fish tacos.  We use cod fillets or a similar white fish but, bass, bluegill, crappie, or walleye would be great too.

Note: This rub goes great on other meats too.  I also like to add it to chili for a bit of extra heat when required.

Ingredients:

Chilli Powder, Salt, Broken Shovel Farms Smoked Paprika, Cumin, Garlic Powder, Broken Shovel Farms Cayenne Powder.
