Winter squash, sweet dumpling — one — the Mad Farmers Garden

Dumpling squash is an outstanding treat of fall.  Edible skin, and a delicate sweet nutty flavor, much like its close cousin, delicata.  Sliced and roasted, the smell and taste coming out the oven are as delectable as a sheet of cookies!
